Hi, I bought one of these after reading several reviews, but the helmet is not as good as expected. First fault was the right hand catch for the chin piece, it didn't lock. I had to bend the catch for it to stay locked, which highlighted the fact that if you squeeze the chin piece hard enough you can open it with out using the button. When the face is open the sides of the helmet feel very flimsy. The internal dark visor is at an angle and difficult to retract fully by the leaver. The volume control sticks on the + side. The strap is also a weird set up. I prefer the double D rings and have used seat belt type before, but as yet I still need two hands to open this ratchet type. This is my first flip front helmet, so maybe I'm being to picky. On the plus side it is very comfy and a good fit (unusual for my XXL head).

Great review, cheers. SWMBO and I are off to California in September and all the years of riding together, we have always wanted a better system than an Autocom (which we have and is perfectly good but, the wires, you know...). Without reading your piece, I would have guessed that the quality is not top shelf but as long as it safe, reasonably comfy and the key features are user friendly it will be a bonus on our Stateside adventure. Will be sourcing some as soon as possible.
